Clay Paky is proud to sponsor the grass volleyball tournament “Tormeo 2012”, brainchild of former Italian national team member Marco Meoni. The event is also sponsored by the Riviera del Conero Tourist Board and the Visitors’ Office at Porto Recanati, where the tournament takes place.
Tormeo is now in its third year and brings together boys and girls from all over Italy. During the weekend of 21 and 22 July, they will compete at the Porto Recanati sports facility in 4×4 mixed open teams.
The rounds (heats on Saturday and elimination rounds on Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon) are organized so that each team plays up to seven games over the entire weekend.
This year’s programme is not limited to the sporting event: there will be a musical party in the main square of Porto Recanati on Saturday from 8:30 pm onwards, for which Clay Paky will provide the lighting equipment.
Clay Paky believes in the value of sport, and this is not the first time it has sponsored events of this kind, for example it has several years of experience with the Italian National Orchestra and Singers Football Team, has sponsored several bicycle races, and has recently helped with the organization of the motorcycle race held annually by the Moto Rumi team.
