On November 6 in New York City’s Rockefeller Center, Clay Paky Alpha Beam 300 took centre stage alongside Academy Award winning actress Marcia Gay Harden unveiling Carnival Cruise Lines’ “Big Book of Dream’s Event”. Carnival teamed up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to realize their vision, a 4.7-metre tall by 6-metre wide version of “The Dream Plucker of Perrysport” to encourage children to dream big. It is claimed to be the world’s largest children’s book and proceeds will earn money for children’s cancer research.
The unveiling featured Alpha Beam 300 fixtures swirling on a giant white drape, with the beams in full visibility during the daytime event.
