Clay Paky products provided the lighting at the Badminton World Grand Prix international tournament, the Bitburger SaarLorLux Open 2006, held at the Saarlandhalle in Saarbrücken. On the day of the final, 16 1200W Clay Paky moving body luminaires proved their potential during the show of the stars from five continents. The show was programmed on a grandMA which, thanks to its being easy to handle, allows a wide range of effects even with very rapid programming times.
The Bitburger SaarLorLux Open is one of the Top Five tournaments on the world badminton circuit which are held in Europe. Over 300 players met in the course of the six days to win the coveted points in the world ranking. This year again the traditional tournament of 1. BC Saarbrücken/Bischmisheim attracted thousands of spectators to the Saarlandhalle. During the Players’ Night at the Casino, with 1200 guests, 21 other Clay Paky Stage Light 300s helped to create the evocative setting for the event.
