During the 2026 Sanremo Festival, the RTL 102.5 radio truck and its area inside the Radio Village established themselves as one of the liveliest and most popular hotspots outside the Ariston Theatre. The space hosted live radio broadcasts and programs, social media and streaming content production, events, and entertainment activities, while also becoming a key meeting point for the competing artists.
Throughout the week, the area was enhanced through the use of Claypaky’s Tambora Glare fixtures, multifunctional LED bars capable of creating a highly engaging atmosphere thanks to their outstanding brightness, contributing to an immersive audience experience. Tambora Glare allows individual LED control and features the exclusive “Advanced Layer Management” function, enabling the creation of complex and customized effects. In addition, its blinder mode emphasizes the most spectacular moments with effects similar to traditional audience blinders.
These fixtures stand out for their lightweight design, modularity, and IP66 protection rating, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, even in challenging weather conditions. The combination of vintage aesthetics and advanced technology transforms any environment into a scenic space with strong emotional impact.
As highlighted by Alberico D’Amato, Commercial Director of Claypaky:
“We are proud to have actively contributed to the lighting of this important RTL 102.5 space, visited by Sanremo’s leading artists. Claypaky and RTL share a common history: they were founded almost at the same time, both in the Bergamo area, and experienced the golden age of discos in the last century together. Our founder, Pasquale “Paky” Quadri, knew the founders of the broadcaster very well, and I am sure he would be pleased to know that this collaboration continues successfully to this day.”
