Entertainment technology rental company Codex is the first Rental Company in Luxembourg to own its own inventory of Clay Paky Sharpys. The largest operations of its kind in the region, Codex conceive and implement technical solutions for public and private events and exhibitions Europe-wide.
Since Codex’s inception in 2000 the company has expanded from a local service provider to a pan European supplier with operations in rental, sales, and installation, dealing with audio-visual, multimedia, intelligent lighting, sound, stage systems and rigging equipment.
Having recently taken delivery of 48 Sharpy moving heads for its rental operation Patrick Risch, managing director for the company says: “Codex strives to constantly upgrade its stock with the latest and most innovative products available on today’s market. That’s why we’re the largest event company in Luxembourg. The lightweight Sharpy demonstrates an unprecedented brightness usually only achievable with far greater wattages. They produce a perfectly parallel, laser-like beam and they are groundbreaking for the beam purity, which is sharply defined and free of any halo or discoloration around the edges. With its light weight and modest footprint, Sharpy is small enough to be fitted anywhere – on trusses at live and TV events, on stage, in showrooms or conference rooms – what’s not to like?”
Pio Nahum Chief Commercial Officer for Clay Paky continues: “We’re extremely impressed by the fast growth of Codex and see this most recent purchase of Clay Paky Sharpys as a continuation of a long and productive partnership between our two businesses. Codex already has a large number of Clay Paky fixtures and says they are an exceptionally popular rental item with their customers. We expect the Sharpy to be just as popular with customers for all the reasons that Patrick has just highlighted.”
