One Team, One Vision is the leitmotif that characterized the Claypaky Distributor Meeting, held in Rome from March 8th to 10th, 2023. It was a three-day event that brought together the Italian company’s entire sales network – over 150 lighting professionals, who were able to convey their “vision” of the market within this ambitious Team project.

Claypaky CEO Marcus Graser and Sales Director Alberico D’Amato welcomed participants and introduced Matthias Erb, Chairman of ARRI, the company that a few months ago took over Claypaky. He stated that “The acquisition of Claypaky is a strategic, long-term investment and that this premium position of the two brands shows that both companies are an ideal match and can further expand their respective businesses under the unified parent company”.

Marcus Graser then took the floor highlighting the company values, the predisposition to “sustainability”, the persistent pursuit of innovation and outlined the short-, medium- and long-term objectives.

Alberico D’Amato boasted that Claypaky’s Global Sales Network is one of the largest in the entire Professional Lighting industry, with over 70 Distributors worldwide. He highlighted the importance of Distributors, Sales Managers, SSEs as Claypaky “Ambassadors” in the world, then presented sales data for macro-areas, countries and markets.

Marco Zucchinali, Lighting Designer Relations manager, illustrated some important technical collaborations with acclaimed Lighting Designers. In order to promote the Lighting culture and investing in the future, Claypaky has also developed multiple partnership initiatives in coordination with numerous Universities and specialised Courses for young Lighting Designers.

Product Portfolio Manager Giovanni Zucchinali illustrated the market trends and new technologies, providing a broad-spectrum analysis from the pre-covid period to the years to come. An in-depth demo of all the latest products and a “preview” of what will be available at Prolight+Sound at the end of April was obviously included.

The meeting was concluded by the Head of Technology & Innovation Alberto Alfier and the Head of Marketing & Communication Alena Turiakova.

ONE TEAM, ONE VISION took place at the “Roma Eventi” headquarters in the central Piazza di Spagna, and was an opportunity for all Claypaky Distributors to visit the eternal city, including an unforgettable private visit inside the magnificent Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican.

The next day was dedicated to networking and information exchange, where the main Claypaky business departments were able to gather valuable feedback from Distributors.

At the end of the meetings, only one stance: united you always win, and from what we have seen, the Claypaky Global Sales Network is more united and motivated than ever!
