School holidays…6 weeks of chaos…entertaining the kids, keeping them fed and out of mischief! As if that wasn’t enough…now you’re faced with a mountain of washing and ironing, school runs and homework! Thankfully ITV have commissioned a new afternoon chat show that means you can take a little well deserved ‘me time’ before the kids come home…the calm before the storm some might say?!

Michael Ball, one of the Nations’s most celebrated musical theatre stars, now has his own show, promised to be jam packed full of celebrity guests, cookery, entertainment….and if you’re lucky…maybe even a little musical number from the man himself!

The set creates a very sophisticated style with an elegant evening, almost theatre look. Lighting Designer Roger Williams uses LED ribbon supplied by Williams’ company easily LED to create bold and ‘West End’ type signage of the show host’s name. Richard Martin Lighting were contracted to provide the lighting which included a variety of the Clay Paky range – including Alpha Spot HPE 300, Alpha Wash 300 and Alpha Wash 700.

RML purchased the Alpha 700 range in autumn last year and the Wash 700 colours achieved are fantastic with good light distribution and it sports a high ratio zoom.  The 700W lamp is built into an incredibly compact and lightweight body, providing peerless brightness and perfectly even light distribution.

Michael’s warm personality and light heartedness helps create a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jackie Collins, Brian May, Sir Terry Wogan and Pixie Lott as well as many unsung heroes.  ‘Duvet days’ will never be the same again!
