Creativity, fun and enthusiasm, with joy, gaiety and spontaneity: these are the ingredients of the Children’s European Song Festival. The guests of honour at the Festival, held at the PalaLevico in Levico Terme, Trento, Italy, were the ten primary school classes that had won the “A Score for Us” competition to find the best lyrics to put to music.
Armando Traverso and his puppet friends presented the winning songs, which had been set to music by great Italian pop music writers and were interpreted by the Piccole Colonne choir conducted by Adalberta Brunelli.
The Festival was broadcast on RAI YOYO on 13, 14 and 15 April 2012.
The lighting equipment consisted of Clay Paky Sharpys, which were provided by the sound, lighting and rigging service company Maffei service Srl, based in Levico Terme.
